I love February because I love Black History Month. I'm not here to debate the merits of it and whether it's antiquated. I'm celebrating it. I'm singing Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing. I'm tuned in to PBS and any other channel showing BHM programming. Do what you want. One of the things that I love about being Black is our creativity - whether it be language, hair, music, food - whatever. We always find a way to make it our own. And Lord knows we know how to find the humor in things.
When I ran across the Little Known Black History Facts Tumblr and this picture posted on there, I. COULD. NOT. BREATHE. It seems to be spreading across the web like wildfire, and it should!!!

As we kick off the month, I wanted to wish each of you of you - not just Black folks - a Happy Black History Month. I'll post some more serious content this month, but today, I'm glad for the comic relief.
